    The project

Based in mid-Cornwall, our project plans to produce over 21,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate every year, for over 20 years. Our lithium resource is located in an old china clay pit which has not been mined for a number of years. Our project will be based entirely on Imerys mining land, lowering the impact on the local community.

    Commitments

We have made structural choices to ensure our project is responsible - with controlled environmental and social impacts: using an old kaolin pit, existing kaolin mining infrastructure e.g. haul roads, private rail sidings, Imerys deep water port at Fowey, preservation of the environment and water resources, waste rock management and discharge control.
